The Mid Hudson Collegiate
Cycling Challenge provides an opportunity for students,
faculty and boosters to show their school spirit, enjoy
a beautiful bike ride in the Hudson Valley, and raise
much-needed funds for local early childhood education.
This year's route travels
roundtrip from the Marist campus to the SUNY New Paltz
Campus. Highlights include spectacular views of the
Hudson River from the footpath of the Mid-Hudson bridge,
miles of peaceful rail-trail riding, and quiet
country back roads. The historic village of New Paltz is
the turn around point, with beverages and refreshments
available in Hasbrouck Park next to the SUNY campus.
Be sure to catch the
post-ride celebration on the grounds of the
Poughkeepsie Day Nursery, this years recipient of
proceeds.
The College or University
entering the most riders earns the right to keep the
traveling Challenge Cup Trophy for one year.
The Mid-Hudson Collegiate
Cycling Challenge is hosted by VO2 Velo Cycle Club, New
Paltz, NY
