Saturday Mornings:
7:45 am from the Bicycle Depot in New
Paltz. 'A' Ride. The route varies weekly on this
40-60 mile ride. Contact the Bicycle Depot for more information
at 845-255-3859.
10:00 am: B Ride The route varies
weekly. 30 to 60 miles
Wednesday Evenings:
5:00 pm:
Single Speed (or full gearing): A/B ride. A
great workout. Loops back to join the 6:00 ride (when the 6:00
ride starts)
6:00 pm: Starting
in April: Wednesday evening
rides depart from the Bicycle Depot on Main street in new Paltz (meet in the back parking lot). 'A' and 'B' rides
typically depart together, then split
into two groups.
Bicycle Helmets are required on all rides
Ride Categories: Our
rides are categorized by average speed and exertion level. Use the following
guidelines to find a ride you'll enjoy.

For new riders or
riders who've been away from cycling for a few years.
These rides take either very quiet and flat roads
or the Rail Trail. |

12 - 15
mph |
For cyclists who
ride regularly but are more comfortable at this pace.
These rides avoid steep hills, and regroup often so that
riders stay together. |
| B |
15 - 18 mph |
For more
experienced cyclists who prefer to ride on a
faster paced ride. Routine to hard riding over
challenging terrain. 'B' rides generally regroup at the
top of climbs. |

18+ mph |
For strong,
experienced, conditioned cyclists. There is no
expectation of regrouping on these rides. (Although it
can happen) |
Not sure which rides you might find enjoyable? We recommend
starting with a 'C' ride and moving to other rides as
you feel inclined. Still not sure? Call Doug at 256-0332 to
discuss your interests or concerns.

welcome for one ride. Then, in accordance with our club
insurance policy, we ask the favor of your membership. Please
