Mid-January Century, 2006

The historical average mean temperature in the Hudson Valley on January 11th is 24 degrees. But any day is a good day for a bike ride....isn't it? Actually, the weather favored us with a balmy 42 degrees.

We rode the Four-County century with stops in Woodstock, Hudson and Kingston.

Hot coffee at Bread Alone in Woodstock.

Preparing to cross the Rip Van Winkle Bridge from Catskill.

Oops! Forgot the E-Z Pass.

Are you sure we aren't lost?

Heading back to Ulster County.

Homeward Bound. One final stop for hot tea at the Rondout Waterfront.
